Reminiscing on where we came from breeds for me feelings of being thankful of where I’m at- which lets me embrace a fleeting moment of humbled graciousness right now. Always thought it was interesting how for me that seems to follow with a moment, a feeling of happiness, but I realise now why - happiness is a way of seeing that asks nothing of the external world, a moment of dvinity, so of course feeling grateful leads to it, it’s essentially a person appreciating something or someone that exceeded their expectations, whatever they happen to be. I think that gratefulness is one of the greatest and most powerful emotions humans have- and expectations are the worst – and yes, I do think expectations are an emotion more than anything. Do you think animals even experience that feeling? I think that’s where anger comes from, so maybe.. All in all, I just want to give thanks to the universe for blessing me so- and hope that I’m blessed with more each day, and even if I’m not, to always be able to find those momemts of happiness and gratefulness. 

 Here’s to a long life filled with love and happiness and many more memories to come in the Wuthering Heights Mafia.
